Reiki explained, is a treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit.  It is not a system of religious beliefs, but rather healing vibrations transmitted through the hands of the Reiki Practitioner to the client.

Simply by relaxing, energy vibrations is sent through the Reiki Practitioner Hands (Reiki Practitioner acts as a conduit for this energy only) to the body of the person whom wishes to receive it.  Whether it is to relieve stress, pain, relax, clear chakras (clear emotional blockages), accelerate natural healing, realign energies or to support the modern modaliities including traditional therapies and medical direction.  Many Doctors see Reiki as an absolute positive direction to assist in the healing process.  Our perception manifests deeply with in, so every thought and every emotion, plays a big role in our health and survival.

According to the International Centre for Reiki, there are about 4,000,000 persons world wide who have trained in Reiki level one.  Reiki has three levels to attain, with the third being a master/teacher level.

Today, Reiki is offered free of charge in more than 800 hospitals as a means to accelerate the healing process and to alleviate pain.  Contact your local hospital to see if they have practitioners located in their hospital and if not they will be able to direct you to your local practitioner.
